the picture in picture is great for event. can zoom in for a wedding and get a seperate video for everyone else. same for baseball games etc. that camcorder can be fully ran off of usb power as well. the panasonic wins hands down for video recording. wont have to ever change a battery, worry about heat and it can work in low light situations which the camera you are showing sucks ass at low light and theres no night shot on it that is worth a damn. your knowledge about the cameras shows your lack of experience. sorry bro you are still amateur

I had both. Bustin manualed good but the rubber didn’t hold up and I ended up motor swapping with meepo donuts. It took some torque away for the size but made it roll smoother. I liked my meepo mini 2 for 1100 miles and the bustin for 700 miles. Sold both. Meepo price unbeatable and stronger acceleration… but bustin looked and felt better. Pick one I guess. Meepo charged faster and seemed to last almost as long even tho it has like 50 less watt hours…

The -distance sensing cruise control- Adaptive Cruise Control is not the same system as the parking assist. The ACC is sitting next to your front fog light, and inside of it is a swiveling radar array, i.e. it is actually moving when active. The park-assist on the other hand is delivered by those 8 "buttons" (4 for each bumper) all around the car. I have to admit your half-wooden steering wheel looks amazing... I suppose it's got the heating too?

This dude don’t know what he’s talking about. Camcorder for the win, after you buy all the necessary lenses, batteries and some type of cooling device to keep that dslr running while shooting 4K video, trying to make your camera compete with a camcorder you have spent the equivalent of two-three camcorders.

I have a sony 6100. It is better then the panasonic. my sony AX53 is batter to. But I shoot with the sony 6100.

A lot of the cheaper camcorders have the same problem with time limits when shooting videos which is normally limited to around 15 minutes but they are slightly pointing it out in tecnobabble by saying that the camera is perfect for vlogging

Ran into the exact same problem after looking on Sylvanias website, it told me my new Sylvania H7 LEDs would fit, NOT. So I am now stuck with 2 sets that wont fit. I can't do the duct tape thing. It's a JAG. ;)

Thanks for the info on the Camcorder,I have the Sony FDR AX53 4K Camcorder but I mainly film Buzzards or Hawks in the sky but the problem is when your trying to track and follow them in the sky it jumps in and out of Focus remember it’s like a dot in the sky and hard to stay in focus so I don’t know what camcorder would be perfect for this kind of filming.

Thanks for the conparison. That picture in picture feature is a marketing feature and what would be considered "value added". It's not. There is a version without the second camera.

DMC-GX85 does not record video with stabilization and no proper zoom.

Given the Panasonic has 1.8 it's decent in low light and the FORM FACTOR is most important. It's a camcorder and you can get that super smooth zoom that is not capacitated on a DSLR style camera. It's definitely not as good as those, but it's the best entry level to the HC style cameras that sit on the shoulder. I definitely appreciate the vid either way

Vx1 for me is a much better choice. The stabe is stellar and 600mm zoom is so handy. The gx85 needs a large 300mm lens to be equivalent. For me the vx-1 is a perfect b-roll camera for grabbing many different shots when i don’t have my g9ii with a 400mm lens (800mm full frame equivalent) which I love but don’t always have in the car with me. My vx-1 (dead now) used to live in the drink holder of my car.

Wrong. There is something about camcorders that competes -- smooth zoom. And the AX700, NX80, and z90v have a remote for a very slow zoom crawl for talking heads. For low light, keep your full-frame camera handy.
